1. stop doing stuff that you think will make you popular (seems youve already started to learn this lesson)
2. realize that absolutly no one you know in highschool is going to matter by the time youre 25, so its not going to matter much what they think of you.
3. stop hanging out with child molesters. they dont care about you, they care about sex, and you will not mean anything to them in the long run.
4. the person you are right now may have more experiance than other kids your age, but that doesnt make you mature or ready for the real world. it makes you lost and in need of a real mentor.
5. NO ONE in america has to wait til they are legal to drink or smoke; no matter what you think about the other kids you go to school with, millions of middle and highschoolers in this country drink smoke and have sex by the time they are your age. its not as uncommon as you think.
so in closing, dont feel sorry for your self and dont feel like youre a bad person. straiten up, learn what is *really* necessary to become an adult in the next five years (i.e., how to keep and hold a good job, figure out what you really want to do and how to go to school for it, and how to manage your own bills) stop hanging out with people a decade older than you, because if all they are doing is giving you a bad influence, they obviously shouldnt have graduated highschool in the first place. dont worry about the other kids in school thinking one thing or another about you. focus on who you want to become, and who you will have to be in order to love yourself. |
